This is a highly versatile tractor slasher lending itself to many applications. Scintex has supplied this unit for use in many mowing applications from mine sites, golf courses, home yards, acreages to equine centres, parklands, schools, camping grounds, caravan parks and roadsides. This unit is a genuine 4.6ft size which is ideal and larger then other units often on offer.
The mow height has adjustable positions which are changed by varying the height of the side skids. Top link chains allow the slasher to float over undulating and uneven ground giving a better cut and reduced blade wear. Front and rear chain, stone deflectors provide good protection from flying rocks and sticks.
These units run a upgraded heavy duty gearbox making them suitable for a wider range of tractor hp ratings. Specifying a heavier duty gearbox ensures users will never have any issues operating in the harsh Australian terrrain.
The PTO gearbox is is guarded for safety. It is still easy to access the gearbox for maintenance and oiling. Cat I&II pins, PTO shaft and PTO Clutch are included with the slasher. The twin blades are simple to change and spares are readily available through Scintex and other mower or tractor stores.
Included is a rear trailing wheel. These wheels make the units ideal for use in rough terrain or by inexperienced operators.
